Earning Trust in the French Scooter Market — One Custom Build at a Time

2026/07/13

Going up against established local brands like Globe3T, Zosh, and Trotrx meant one thing was clear from the start: we couldn't compete on price or speed alone. We had to be willing to build exactly what the customer needed, when an off-the-shelf model simply wouldn't do.

That approach paid off most clearly with Trott'in France. Their brand promise is simple — all-terrain scooters so stable and easy to handle that age and experience barely matter, with speeds capped at 25km/h for total rider confidence. At their Poitou location, that means welcoming solo riders, families, and groups of up to fifteen onto forest trails and lakeside paths, often after just a quick safety briefing.

A standard single-motor scooter couldn't deliver the traction and low-speed stability that promise required. So based on our KCES-007 platform, we engineered a custom dual-motor variant — better balance on uneven terrain, more consistent traction for first-time riders, and the durability a daily commercial fleet demands.

The result: a working fleet, a satisfied operator, and proof that in a market built on local trust, the right manufacturing partner has to earn its place by building around the customer — not the other way around.
